Yesterday, with trepidation, I turned my TV to Music Choice’s channel 1942. What I feared was the same fucking Bruckner symphony I’d heard on the channel every day for the past week. What I got wasn’t Bruckner.
Music Choice, per its personal promise to me (yay!), worked out the glitch that was driving me away from the channel. And now I get the usual mix of known composers and unusual ones I never heard of before Music Choice played their music.
O joy! O rapture! Not exactly unforseen, but then Music Choice 1942 does not consider Gilbert and Sullivan’s operettasĀ to be “classical music.”
