Over the years of driving down the West Side Highway, I had to notice a sign indicating that Trump has “adopted” a section of the road.
The past four years a growl (from me) accompanied viewing that sign.
Maybe he is, as usual, a deadbeat and hasn’t paid his adopt-a-highway bill. But whatever the reason, Trump’s name is gone.
So will Trump be in a few weeks. It is so appropriate that Trump’s native city has forcefully wiped his name off our public lands.
