Paths Crossed: The Chicks are in “How I Learned The Facts of Life”

The terrific group now known as the Chicks are in Chapter 7, under the sub-title “Brainwashing and the Dixie Chicks.”

Oh, the Chicks weren’t brainwashed. Country music, in “canceling” them, acted as if the entire business and all their fans were in danger of being brainwashed.

Nobody can be brainwashed — unless that nobody does it to himself.
