Senator Sheldon Whitehouse was just on Ari Melber’s show and with the sort of calm eloquence I am in awe of he talked about Trump’s upcoming Supreme Court nomination.
And in discussing the crucial importance of this seat and this court, he brought up Citizens United, and how dark money released by this awful decision downed the senate candidacies of Russ Feingold, Evan Bayh and Ted Strickland. (He didn’t mention Jason Kander, but I will.)
Which is just what I wrote in anguish at the end of 2016.
