I’ve been watching the House hearings but have had a problem. I can’t bear listening to GOP members yell and yammer stuff that makes no sense.
So I was jumping up and down, turning the channel to my music station, turning the channel back to the hearings. But my timing was not good. I was missing some good people.
Someone on Twitter said something about the mute button on the remote. Well, yes, I do know my remote has a mute button. But I listen to the hearings while sitting at my computer, my back to the TV.
This morning, I had one of those light bulb moments, like the light button on my remote — which I’ve never pressed. I don’t know what it does. But I thought, “Gee, will my remote mute button work when I’m at my computer?”
Yes! It does.
I was stupid but now I’m smart.
