Harper’s Weekly Review told me, and I immediately told you, about some humanoid action going on, including the introduction of a humanoid teaching assistant in Salamanca, a town in far-southwestern New York State. So far southwest it’s almost skidding off the map into Pennsylvania.
But a couple of days later, the Daily News weighed in with a “Uh-uh.” There was a picture of a similar teaching assistant, the design and look of which (her) has been forcefully rejected by some people with clout in that district, within the Allegany Reservation which itself is governed by the Seneca Nation, although I don’t think this it was native anti-humanoids who objected. I think it was the white guys.
Sally (her name, cutely referencing the town) has physical (fake?) attributes — black longish hair, white skin — which may have offended some people. But mostly it came down to a Salamanca school official saying he wouldn’t have this thing walking through his school hallways.
The Daily News then quietly pointed out, perhaps sardonically, that the humanoid can’t walk.
